New Owners Take On The Fashion-Forward Legacy of She’s Unique

Meet Bridget Nistico

Style enthusiast, statement jewelry collector, and the proud new owner of She’s Unique.

With a career built in the luxury fashion world, Bridget brings an eye for design and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship to everything she does. Raised in Northern Virginia by an Italian immigrant family with a history of entrepreneurship, Bridget and her co-owner Rosio are committed to carrying on the spirit of She’s Unique that was created by founder Katya Ananieva.

Bridget’s aesthetic is a mix of layered neutrals (yes, including animal print) and playful boldness. Her goal? To continue curating a space where every woman can discover the jewelry that makes her feel confident and stylish, and to bring the legacy of She’s Unique to a new audience of women who love fashion and style.

Meet Rosio Garcia

Entrepreneur, tastemaker, and the newest creative force behind She’s Unique.

Born in California to hardworking immigrant parents who built their own business from the ground up, Rosio grew up steeped in the values of passion, persistence, and purpose. She launched her own successful company in 2007 and is excited to expand the boutique while remaining faithful to the essence and legacy of the brand.

Rosio’s entry into the jewelry world feels like a natural evolution of her story and taste: Rosio’s impeccable style, combined with an appreciation for beauty and a commitment to community. She brings her refined style to our boutique, reminding us all that hard work deserves to be celebrated—and there’s no better way to do that than with something exquisitely chosen, and uniquely yours.

Meet Alli Parmiter

Two weeks after college graduation I moved from Cincinnati, OH to Washington, DC to work on Capitol Hill. I later transitioned to The White House, where I met a colleague who eventually started her own boutique.  Years later we reconnected when she opened another location in my neighborhood. I started working with her part time. I loved how I could spend my days in the office and escape afterwards to work with beautiful clothes and accessories.

That same friend connected me with She’s Unique. It is such a special place. There’s something for everybody. Helping people find pieces that make them feel good is so rewarding.

One of my favorite designers we carry is Lulu.  The intricate designs and natural gemstones are a magical combination.

When I’m not at She’s Unique, I work as a Leadership Development and Event Management Consultant.

I live in Alexandria, Virginia with my husband of fifteen years and three children.  Our nights and weekends are spent on the ballfields and in dance studios, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.  When we aren’t chasing our kids around, we love hanging out at home with our dog and guinea pigs.

Meet Juliet Luna

Sales and Marketing Lead

I was born in New Mexico, raised in Seattle, and then spent seven years living in Switzerland before returning to Boulder, Colorado. Recently I moved to Alexandria for love, and we’re getting married this summer. Fittingly, I even picked out my wedding earrings from the store!

My background is in advertising and creative tech—I have a BS in Advertising and an MS in Creative Technology and Design from CU Boulder.

What I love most about working in the shop is getting to touch things again. I get to handle beautiful, thoughtful pieces and find ways to tell their stories. Of course, I love our customers too—but I light up when I’m styling pieces, photographing them, or talking about the artists behind them.

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with Leah Alexandra—her quirky, playful pieces like the martini necklace totally speak to my fun side.

When it comes to personal style, I honestly think mine changes day to day. I love having pieces that feel like little shapeshifters—ones I can dress up or down depending on my mood.

Victoria Osadcha

I’m originally from Ukraine and have lived in the U.S. on and off for over a decade. My family and I have moved quite a bit over the years—through my husband’s diplomatic work Now, we’re happily settled in the DC metro area.

I’ve been working in the jewelry industry for over eight years, with past roles at Zales, Helzberg Diamonds, and David Yurman. I hold a DCA (Diamond Council of America) certification and specialize in both permanent jewelry and custom jewelry making.

What I love most about working at She’s Unique is connecting with our customers and helping them discover pieces that feel personal and special. It’s incredibly fulfilling to work with independent brands from around the world.

I’m especially drawn to our dainty fine jewelry with diamonds and gemstones. I love the nature-inspired 18K designs by Alex Monroe and the handmade gemstone necklaces by Lulu Designs from California.

I’d describe my personal style as classic and minimal, with a playful twist. I gravitate toward timeless, fine jewelry staples that I can wear every day. I also like to add a bit of fun and have multiple piercings and love experimenting with different earring combinations.
